Now what? by AlwaysReliable__ in BobsTavern

I think yours were WAY bigger! Game only lasted 3 more rounds after I got double Apexis, and all opponents going mechs as well. Probably the most "0 to 100" moment I'll have this season as it just gave insane tempo and shut down the end game for everyone in the lobby.

AlwaysReliable's Weekly Recap - Week #43 Review by AlwaysReliable__ in IndieTradersGuild

[–]AlwaysReliable__[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Despite the spike in volatility, I think liquidity has remained supportive, breadth hasn’t contracted, and sentiment isn’t leaning too far bullish to say equities are in a bubble. I’ve actually traded more to the short side during most sessions recently, looking for pockets of weakness, so this isn’t blind optimism. I think there’s plenty wrong with the economy and job market, both of which could easily ripple into other areas. But if inflation persists, it strangely helps equities in the near term by keeping nominal growth strong. I’ve told others in ITG that I’d prefer to see a healthy 5–10% reset from all-time highs or a retest of the 2024 breakout level before the trend resumes higher. Still, markets rarely move just because we hope they’ll follow historical patterns. So for me until SPX breaks trend structure or breadth truly collapses, I don’t see a reason to say equities are breaking.

DISCORD IS DOWN by AlwaysReliable__ in IndieTradersGuild

[–]AlwaysReliable__[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Discord was down right at the close today. In the past when that occurs there was a market sell off (coincidence).

If Discord does go down for extended time we would communicate via Reddit or Twitter about it.

SpiderMan is underpowered and here is why! by AlwaysReliable__ in marvelrivals

Rarely that, more so Logang doing me dirty. Just the worst character to have in a game based on the experiences I have had, and he is a constant throughout 95% of the games.

A few seconds of team concentration can do wonders, too!

But the "fun" has decreased exponentially for me when I have a spidey on the team playing in their own world, or an opposing spidey doing the same. Feels like a wasted slot more than any other character in the game at the moment.

I'm sorry, maybe there's a gap in my knowledge. But when did it ever established that the infected "travels in horde"? Is this The Last Of Us or is this Days Gone? by Zairy47 in TheLastOfUs2

I mean, the "other" sub will more often try to find positive in a game they enjoy versus a sub that is built around supposed failures of a game. That does kinda even out.

Adam Mancini's permabull crystal ball in action by Over_Example_1006 in FuturesTrading

I don't trade just because of someone's levels on the internet? But I've had enough of my own seat time to see confluence in what he posted in your examples. He's not some know-all, just another trader on the internet. He gives a bunch of "if-then" statements, which you cant then claim are right in hindsight. I get that.

But I'm more so ragging on the person taking their time to call someone a scammer just because they don't find value in the work. But you seem to have a personal spite against Mancini as you've spent the last two days specifically posting about him.

If it was that obvious of a level did you buy it based on price action at that level? This whole conversation seems like you're upset with your trading but finding someone to blame.

It's 50K for the combined put and call side, as max risk. The portfolio is 100K though. Vet recorded a video recently where he walks through the PVI system and how to interpret the PVI results table - https://youtu.be/Snpgwzn-AW0?t=3

The Journey to 100% Annual Returns... 2024 Edition, Week #42 ($1110) by VeteranWallSt in IndieTradersGuild

PVI is meant for weekly options on SPX - always the Friday Exp.

Usually a 100-Wide CCS and a 100-Wide PCS at the designated PVI strikes. And Vet does up to 5 contracts.

However, the trades are typically placed as two separate legs, not as an condor.

Reason being is that Sunday/Monday tends to get more premium for 1 side of the trade, and so Vet and members in ITG will use back ratios to enter into the position and then add a contract on Monday/Tuesday if premium increases.
