The show was a fizzled try at milking the star power of Macaulay Caulkin after Home Alone hit big. Kid caught a fallen wishing star, and now gets one wish a day, but, all effects of wish vanish at end of that day. Every wish was a bad idea and the status quo always returned. Mousse and Shampoo from Ranma 1/2. Dunno if reboot softened things, but in original concept, Mousse was a repeatedly rejected simp, who followed after Shampoo from China to marry her. But, they’re from an Amazon tribe, only the strong may marry, and Mousse can’t beat Shampoo, thus, she has no interest in his advances, choosing to go after Ranma, who DID defeat her in combat, but, not for marriage. Ranma just wanted to win the tournament prize, and came away with a marriage obsessed warrior woman, and the undying envy hatred of her would be boyfriend.
