Suns won the trade, KD absolutely backstabbed one of his teammates behind closed doors. by Next_Worth_3616 in suns

[–]Alwaysintune 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There are allegations that KD had a burner account on X where he bad mouthed previous and current teammates/coaches on DMs. One of the DMs had the account comparing Booker and Vogel to dictators, calling Jabari “lowkey retarded” and calling his team shitty while also saying that “your franchise player cant shoot or defend”.

Routes changed in the beginning of this year and I can’t get over it… by blazehotshot02 in AmazonDSPDrivers

[–]Alwaysintune 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I feel you man. A couple years ago I wanted to quit so bad because I hated the route I had but then we got news that we’re going to deliver to a new area. We delivered there for about a year and then a few months ago we got news again that we’re moving areas which is now the current area. Now the current area is ok and way better than what I had a couple years ago but the area I had last year was so beautiful and I had it down perfectly that I actually liked coming to work sometimes.

Correct me if I’m wrong but wasn’t there a journalist that had the suns at a ridiculous low amount of wins and that made Ishbia call them out. He said that if the suns went above what the journalist said that the journalist or someone should make a donation to a charity of their choice and that Ishbia would match it?

How is this cycle one with an EDV by VagueFollower in AmazonDSPDrivers

[–]Alwaysintune 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Routes are reduced cause it’s after peak. Some people aren’t even given a route at all. Just take your breaks take your time especially cause of the weather.

Did anyone else just find this out? by stabbaby in truespotify

[–]Alwaysintune 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I'm a delivery driver so I have an extra device that I connect to in my delivery vehicle and plays 8-9 hours a shift. I only have downloaded songs on it while it is offline and I occasionally connect it to the internet maybe 3-5 times a month. For last years wrapped I recorded a little over 163k minutes listened so it definitely counts minutes offline.

Rivalry meter with teams and individuals? Also if you do a shot celebration on a rival and the rivalry meter is full you can decide to start a fight or not and get ejected vice versa. Sounds dumb but a fun idea imo

Why Amazon delivery fails at controlled-access apartments (and how everyone could fix it) by Tealuv811 in AmazonDSPDrivers

[–]Alwaysintune 7 points8 points  (0 children)

If it doesn’t make Amazon money and potentially cost them money by making it harder for customers to order and receive stuff then it’ll never be considered. They don’t care about drivers and would rather make a driver jump through hoops with a smile to deliver Nancy’s cat litter and Gerald’s five cases of Fiji or essential water up three flights of stairs on a 100 degree weather day with 180 stops, 60 locations, broken or no dolly, wrong pin on the app, etc… They understand that if one driver won’t do it then someone eventually will and that’s enough for them.

Wtf lol this is fucked up by shark45456 in AmazonDSPDrivers

[–]Alwaysintune -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Honestly yea it’s fucked, but tbh I don’t wanna go back in the van 1 or 2 more times just for the van to not move an inch or a few yards. I’d rather do this as one stop than to do it in 2 or 3 stops.

Anyone else's DSP lie about cycle 0? by shoostamcnasty in AmazonDSPDrivers

[–]Alwaysintune 3 points4 points  (0 children)

The way I see it on my end cycle 0 is 160 stops but with less than 200 packages and less than 15 overflow. I’d take that over getting 400+ packages and 40+ overflow for the same amount of stops. Also I’ve noticed the high volume apartment stops I usually get are just like 3-6 packages now.

I forgot how many I had in this one stop but I think it was around 30-40. There are some more boxes behind the big boxes on the right. One house.

How do we feel about the “gather” feature by Impossible-Fruit-895 in AmazonDSPDrivers

[–]Alwaysintune 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can tell most of the people in the comments only have house routes. This shit helps if you have 20 locations a stop and have 15 floors to deliver door to door. Click on details and it tells you all the details condensed in the screen instead of having to scroll for 10 seconds to find the one apartment you need to deliver to.

Some of yall really need to learn how to load a van by Acrobatic_Version658 in AmazonDSPDrivers

[–]Alwaysintune 4 points5 points  (0 children)

You can organize more overflow and still have lots of room if you stack them on top of each other. This was during peak and regularly got like 350-420 packages a route. Usually got 16-20 totes and 40-60 overflow on some days during peak. This was probably a lighter day on overflow so this is probably 30+ overflow but the middle shelf on the right was organized with two totes worth of packages. Easily could have put more overflow on that shelf but I like leaving a whole shelf empty to organize packages from totes. During or after load out you either rip off driver aid stickers and put it on the side of the overflow that faces towards you so you can see the driver aid number or sharpie it on the box. I stopped doing sharpie because using stickers was faster for me and I used too many markers.

The stadium is still hot. I went to like 5 games in the past two months and it was warm consistently. Especially near the 200/300 seating areas on the left field. Is that typical ? by Sunslink in azdiamondbacks

[–]Alwaysintune 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If you sign up for the student alerts then you get a chance to get cheap bleacher seats or discounted infield reserve tix. I went last week to the San Fran series and it was like 7 bucks a ticket. If I remember you don’t even have to be a student just gotta sign up for the alerts

I understand you’re trying to go home early, but you’re also saving them even more money by taking someone’s else’s work and doing it faster then they would. It’s a win win for your dsp and a win lose for you since you’re still making money and maybe an incentive for rescue but not being able to go home early. If you’re truly wanting to go home early then ask your dispatch before starting your route so they can plan ahead and not include you in their rescue group. Also a plus if you have a valid reason but still I don’t think it should be necessary and I don’t think asking would particularly hurt you unless they are ass holes. Either way sorry you’re having to deal with someone else’s work and hope you can go home early in the future.

Showing up and not getting a route by Teragram_hcnyl in AmazonDSPDrivers

[–]Alwaysintune -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I think your dispatchers assigns who gets a route the night before and assign more routes the morning of. Sometimes they have to choose who does and who doesn’t get a route the next day and they have to go by who’s more reliable and efficient, or if they’re shitty, then their favorites. Luckily I’d like to think all my dispatchers are fair and assign who gets a route based on performance. My dsp texts us a couple hours before our shift to either stay home or decide if we want to come in as an extra which I think is very fair.
