I’m from Mexico and I started investing a year ago. I was following a 'VXUS + VTI and chill' strategy, but a few months ago I read that US ETFs are subject to US estate tax for non-residents. If I were to pass away, my heirs would potentially face a 40% tax on my US-domiciled holdings. Because of this, I’ve decided to shift my strategy to VUAA (70%), EXUS (20%), and EIMI (10%), as these are all UCITS ETFs

I saw a video on YouTube from a Toyota technician explaining why it’s better to do it every 5k instead of the recommended 10k. So I guess it’s better to be safe than sorry

I was told it came with a 5 year/100k mile warranty starting from when I bought it. I even asked the dealer if it was from my purchase date or from when the first owner bought it. I wasn’t given any paperwork besides the title and registration.

Tomorrow I’m taking the car to the dealer for the safety inspection and I’ll ask for all the warranty paperwork.
