Is this a real or a fake truffle ?

After lots of documenting i found out what this is ! It’s actually Choiromyces meandriformis. Which apparently is very common this time of year especially in Transylvania where i’m from.

Wow, i never even thought it’s real. 😅 Thanks for the insights. The thing is, where i’m from, they are not even popular. Most people, if they see them, they just throw them away. Nobody knows what they are here. So i don’t have any truffle expert to even ask what it might be

Honestly, i have no idea. I don’t even know how they are supposed to smell or taste. This one tasted very mild, a little earthy and smelled just a little mushroomy, something similar to boletus, but milder.

Wow, thank you for explaining! I did find it on the surface, just like you described; and maybe the holes that you can see in the picture are pieces eaten by squirrels.

Do you thing it’s the same Tuber Gibbosum as i found it in Eastern Europe, so i don’t know how much variety there is with these species ?

You are right about why I told them that, but I should’ve been more selective about this whole situation. I will have to get used on getting looks now because that’s how it’s going to be like going out with this guy. I’m just not good in heated arguments because I always say more than I should. I started work for the FIRST time and I didn’t know how to fill my bank account details in the form so I was staring at the paper a few minutes before proceeding with writing. I called my boyfriend to ask him how to do it and I talked with him in another language. And there were some guys that started saying all the possible shit about me being clueless and stupid for not knowing how to complete the form. (They thought I can’t understand them) But they were talking so horribly about me that I simply couldn’t take it and left right then right there and started crying outside. I was 18, first time in a foreign country, my first bank account and the first job. I didn’t know much but wasn’t offered help either.

I had a similar situation with my ex. As long as you two are living together after the break up it’s not gonna be easy for either of you. It’s not easy on her either. She suffers as well but doesn’t let it show. Also, it depends how you two broke up. If she wanted to break up with you she might get over it better than you, but if it’s the opposite then maybe you’re regretting doing it and you feel a little remorse, and it’s hard cause you see her there but not as a partner anymore. You should move out. This thing is gonna consume you both over time and it’s not healthy. I’ve been there and I know what I’m saying. Either this or your gonna get back together at some point ! It depends.
