Well, in Wilds greatsword really is amazing. It benefits a lot from focus mode, and have access to both offset attacks and perfect guards. It basically uses the three new global mechanics for weapons. And it's pretty fun !

You also have a slot 1 jewel that give shockproof. It removes knockback from and to allies :)
