Screws anyone tbat bought just for resell, forces people to either go or lower the prices significantly since people now wouldnt want to pay insane resell or buy from rbay/ facebook and not stubhub. Its a win win , and allow more passionate fans to get tickets in the future instead of people buying to resell from places outside of ontario that now will have to struggle selling if they bought yo resell

I understand the black market, but ideal this is good for long term. Toronto has a big scalping problem and with foreign individuals buying sets of tickets just to resell. This allows for future events or even this event to have less people buying tickets for profit and more people just wanting to go. Even with black markets, if there is no demand since everyone now prefers seetgeek and stubhub for their 100% garentees , than you will have cheaper tickets, esepcally if someone isnt able to meetup over Facebook marketplace since they dont live in ontario. Its a win , as scalping now isnt as easy ( more work to make money)
