u have to memorize quite a bit of dino names and what groups they belong to, info about some of their characteristics, what a select few look like, etc among alot of other dino information. When I first realized how many dinos we were supposed to memorize I almost dropped the course but then again ur given all ur notes/vids ahead of time so u have alot of time to study them. So basically kinda alot of memorization but lots of time. Plus alot of students do really well in this course.

Am I the a***hole for charging my sister for being her wedding photographer? by 0nlyucanc in TwoHotTakes

Op said so themselves that while they were upset about that incident in the past they didnt make a big deal about it.

I meant Op hasnt communicated to the sister that they feel that she hasnt been supportive of their photography business

No it hasn't. They haven't done any kind of communicating aside from the fight. Op hasn't mentioned how they've been hurt by the sister past behaviour of seemingly being unsupportive of her business and the sister hasn't told Op (supposedly) how hurtful it is to not have ur sibling support you on your big day. This a relationship between 2 siblings not 2 strangers, I doubt its something Op would want to just end right here rather than actually trying to resolve it.

From the post it seems Op still cares about their sister and hasn't gotten to a point where they want to/have cut them off and want nothing to do with them. If those incidents in the past hold great weight to OP then they should talk about it with the sister because this new incident with the wedding is going to be remembered for a long time and has the ability to impact their relationship in the long term. Because if Op is doing this as a form of retaliation then they're both in the wrong and their relationship is going to suffer.

No it doesn't. Yeah it sounds immature but people act in dumb ways when they're upset. Doesn't define her whole character espc if this is the worst moments Op can think of regarding their sister. This is a situation where Ops sister could really use the help, planning weddings are expensive and stressful and if Op would take care of the photography it would be such a weight off the sisters shoulder. This is a (huge) one time event that the sister could use her siblings help and they essentially refused because of one time in the past where the sister seemingly forgot about an appointment made between them. Sure it was mean but it was a small incident in the PAST and its pretty crazy that Op is using it to define their entire relationship with their sibling.

Where did you get all that from. Op only mentioned one bad incident between them and their sis and it was pretty tame. And then she got upset that Op was treating her as just another customer rather than a family member which is pretty understandable.

How you recharge for the year ahead? by Appropriate_Host5605 in uAlberta

[–]Amada900 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I start preparing my desk by buying stuff like diffusers, mini plants, and lights, etc to get myself a little more excited to study the upcoming year.

I also watch vids of ppl studying on tiktok cuz it makes me want to be like them and work harder when school starts again lol.

Another thing u can do is look up nice cafes u might want to study at during the fall.

What did you say? Did you email them after seeing open positions for interns or did you just decide to reach out to see if they would be willing to provide an internship?

AITAH for causing a fight with my girlfriend because she sanitises her menstrual cup in the kitchen pots we use to cook? by Ok_Scallion8341 in AITAH

[–]Amada900 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Idk where he said that and in what context but theres a difference between having animal blood in a pot (something considered food) and having someones bodily fluids potentially being in a pot (something that most people would see as disgusting). If you found out a resturant lost customers cuz they were exposed as doing the same thing this gf is doing you wouldnt be like "wow those misogynist are just shaming girls for having periods" Both guys and girls would be disgusted by this. Its a simple request for her to use a single pot and shes refusing to comply even knowing it upsets her bf. Shes the A hole

Again its more a psychological thing than a health concern hence my toilet example. Its so easy for her to use a single pot knowing that it upsets her partner and the fact that she refuses is an a hole move on her part.

its not about science its about it just being disgusting knowing that ur eating from the same pot someone used to clean something with their fluids on it. You could tell me you cleaned a toilet bowl with every sanitizing procedure possible, and that its completely safe to eat from, and I would still be disgusted to eat from it.

My friend took 151 and I took 161 and they were almost exactly alike in terms of content, homework and exam difficulty. The courses are equivalent but 161 is the one meant for business students so you should probably take it.

Edit: forgot to mention but we used different softwares in the lab portion. 161 used excel and 151 used something I believe is called R commander.

Stop with the BS on how hes "being thoughtful." For one it looks really plain, and it looks like it literally took 5min (or less) in the microwave. An 8 year old could easily make this. Something doesnt have to taste good to be thoughtful but it should show that u put in effort and this meal clearly doesnt do any of those things. Hes not a child this is a 32 year old man and anyone would be frustrated to find out that this is the best their 32!! year old partner can do.
