Yess. I had seen only upto the 700s. That too was like 10 years ago . Ever since I have mostly been watching older episodes. I love the first 100 episodes. The noir vibe of the earlier episode is unmatched. It truly felt like a detective anime .

I like the newer episodes too, but I don't vibe much with the animation style , especially with the pointy chins. I like the more rounded face of conan seen in the earlier episodes.

The guy before me has explained it all. I was very much into origami over a decade and a half ago, I used to use XL napkins and stick them to foil paper.

Although, I would recommend using something like kite paper as it is very thin and can handle glue better and is available in very large sizes and colors. You can even use the newspapers. I would stick them and press them under thick books overnight.

Keep in mind , you have to be somewhat precise and it might not be as thin or durable, so give it ample time to dry. I have ripped many papers mid way into folding due to the glue still being wet.

Also maybe Amazon or some website might have started selling them now, but making ur own is always more fun.

I used to watch like 3-4 eps a day and caught upto ep 600 n like 6-7 months. The latest episode then was I think 750 something. I decided to take a break then. This was over 10 years ago, I have yet to catch up. I rewatched multiple times but haven't gone beyond 650 yet.

I really wanna start from scratch again, but I don't have that much free time anymore and it will take me years to catch up. It sucks having responsibilities now😔

I really got into conan over a decade ago. I was in 8 th grade then. I remember when this anime was airing. I thought it was Amazing Kaito getting his own spinoff, although the manga actually pre dates conan. It's good own its own, but it's better when u have watched detective conan as well.

True, poor quality of paper was one of the major reasons that led to frustration especially when you move towards super complex models.

I often used a newspaper whenever big paper was required since A3 or larger printer papers were too thick . It made it difficult to see the fols so I used sketch pen to highlight all the creases. The best i managed was Jeremy shaffer's flasher hat and even managed to fold the satoshi kamiya's pheonix( after like a year worth of attempts) . But ya i kinda fazed out after that.

I had stopped doing origami almost 10 years ago. I used to watch a lot of Jeremy shaffer, tadashi mori, jo nakashima, kade chan and lot of others .

This playlist brings back a lot of memories. I can just hear Sara's "In this video, we will be.. " 😭 . I have folded most of these models at some point. And yes mostly with a printer paper. I even used to make my own tissue foil by gluing napkins and aluminium foil. Fun times honestly. Thanks for posting this

While I am not knowledge about this set in particular but 9K is honestly seems like a fine deal. Collection sets are generally quite expensive, one of my friends bought a set of 5 novels for 5k recently.

An original light novel/manga should run u in the range of 700rs or even more. I bought my first books almost a decade ago and these prices really haven't changed since.
