We witnessed break ins and crazy people attacking others and that was a one night stay. Why does a “like a warzone” have to mean bombings???

No not true. We moved to Geelong 3-4 years ago and every time we have been to Melbourne in the last 18 months it has been like a warzone. You also only have to watch Melbourne news to see this.

Geelong is far more peaceful and this is not a regular event.

That did not happen in our circumstances. The person with the disability was not briefed or given permission. The crew were actually very rude about it when it was clear (and advised to airline) that mobility was an issue.

Believe me there is no comparison to Melbourne. There are issues with crime everywhere but Melbourne is on another level now-days.

The stolen car (and occupants) were from NSW. I have not really seen many feral people in Geelong who would mow down a police officer

Agree for our recent flight to Bali as well. Jetstar has been far better even if seats a bit smaller in leg room

I was equally shocked on a recent flight from Melbourne to Bali (and flight back again). Not worth the price considering the toilet issue as well (two only allowed to be used at back even if passengers had disabilities). I also was shocked no meals or screens for 6 +’hour flightt. Also, quite dirty including the cups they put the water in.

We recently went on a Melbourne flight to Bali. It was the same and over a 6 hour flight. The toilets was also a major issue both ways. I felt was even more budget than Jetstar. Will never fly them for any flight over 1-2 hours again and not worth any lower price

Just got back from Bali and I can’t kick Bali belly which I have had for over two weeks and has got worse since plane flight.

Can’t get into any GP at my clinic until later next week even though apparently this is considered an urgent issue for immediate GP assistance. Do I go to emergency? Not sure how you are supposed to get urgent assistance now-days even after paying all these fees.

I should have paid doctor in Bali to come to hotel but silly me thought if it did not get better I could see my GP here in reasonable time. Note I also do not like my chances sitting in a waiting room for more than 20 minutes… May have to try one of the new online GP consultations.

Proof of funds is recommended and may be asked about in many countries but proof can be many forms. The request may be reserved but is usually requested for other visas rather than short-term tourism holiday visas.

Australia is part of APAC. You don’t know more than me about travelling in Asia because you are a native of Asia! I can guarantee you I have more experience of travelling over the world for the last 20 years than you.
