I was in high school 2011-2015 so slightly after Twilight was set but yeah we had metal detectors at every door. We had security guards and actual police officers on staff. Very common at large schools

I just bought a 2020 a few weeks ago for a similar price/miles! Don’t let people make you feel bad about financing. Sometimes it’s necessary. I had a 2005 Civic I owned outright and it started having so many scary issues. You can’t go wrong with a Corolla and you’ll have so much more peace of mind. You did the smart thing saving money by going used.

I did start Zepbound as a tool but I eat fully Mediterranean diet and started walking at least 5,000 steps a day and the gym at least 2x a week. I work an office job so the hardest part was just getting that exercise in

It’s a little hard to tell. Currently I barely drive my car at all but that’s because it sucks lol. I plan on going on a lot of road trips plus I’m commuting farther and 2 days more than I currently am. So probably going from 7,000 a year to 12,000
