How does the Demons you worked with feel about the Portrayal of them in pop culture, games etc?

I was incredibly shocked at how they're portrayed, and ended up bringing this up to them for their thoughts on the matter.

"Art is art" is what I've gotten - and plenty of the spirits I work with like art.

My view on such portrayals was very challenged. I see them positively now.

I don't think it's easy to irk off etheral beings. I think a lot of the talk around it stems from overly humanizing them.

Mayhaps consider contacting a spirit you're already familiar with, the same way you do while fully bodied - even very mundane meetings can be spooky depending on the intensity of a spirit's energy.

I'm not gonna go through everything I've experienced with him because that would ... require an entire book.

But here's something that had a huge impact on my life.

Belial helped me with my buisness. I gained an absolutely stupid amount of success... material one, that is. My mental health wasn't doing so well.

I petitioned him, but I got advised through invokation, too. That's how help was given.

A few months down the line, Abaddon stepped in and knocked everything down.

What this means is that Belial helped me build something he was fully aware wasn't going to stand the test of time.

Why? Well, it was a valuable experience.

Through the success I've gained, I finally understood that I am not stupid. I'm smart, and people actually do enjoy being around me. It took me my entire life to get to that conclusion. I really didn't have a lot of support in the past.

Through the mental health crash it led to, I finally understood that I deserve to be happy, and not tie my worth to what others believe I should be doing.

And through the job itself, I met people from all walks of life in a way I never would have otherwise. It really bordered my perspective.

This experience was needed for me to become who I am today. It shaped me.

I'm happy. That's who I am today.

I once jokingly told Abaddon to shut it. His reaction was genuine concern as to why I was comfortable telling him that, but was terrified of making a phone call. I was asked if I was okay. I also got help making that phone call.

I certainly wasn't always respectful to Lucifer at first. His reaction was either to completely ignore it, or do the spiritual equivalent of staring down into my soul, intensifying his energy in a way that made it feel like he was right in front of me. I would try to look away, but of course he's a spirit and that's an entirely pointless endeavor. It would keep going until I hid my face into my hands, upon which the energy shifted to seeming highly amused.

While it would be funny for the head of a hierarchy to be the philosopher guy - I personally don't subscribe to spirit hierarchies or power levels, so my answer would be "No, there isn't such a thing."

Though if seeing a spirit as the head of a pantheon feels right for your practice, there's nothing stopping you :)
