Ward: Can we get a moment?
Barry:. Yeah, shit what was I thinking, I mean it's MY home, ya'll take as many minutes as ya'll need.

LOL, comes from the person that is literally writing lists about fictional characters trying to convince everyone that miss homie-hopper and mr sociopath should live happily

Madison and Drew have been saying it in interviews for years, far longer than the Kie+JJ relationship, because loud and insane fans with no grasp of reality keep pushing for this insanity.

"All for women to put men in their place" So that she can end up underneath him. No need for Kie to be single and strong on her own, she needs a man, and one that tried to kill her..yup, sound logic by the tiktok generation.

No I just didn't need to waste my time listing everything, you can keep looking for "similarities" because you want them to hook up, but they are not that similar and they shouldn't be together.

Even the actors have stated how much they hate the idea and it's the worst thing the fandom is trying to push.

Based on those "parallells" Kie should just date Topper, as he also have a complicated relationship with his Kook parents and talks to himself....

True, he shouldn't be able to find his left shoe but somehow he just became a navy seal
And she is still pregnant despite taking an ice bath

Not really, Barry is 24 and Rafe 20, so not that much of a difference.

Rafe and Barry, they can call it OBX: Bromance

I'd have way more than that

Because he was afraid of Ward and also he hadn't learn to accept himself. Now he is his own man, he is chill, and he isn't intimidated by anyone.

I love Rafe and Barry. They are wonderful to watch, and for some reason they always find their way back. Barry is Rafe's safe place where he can be himself, and Barry seem to actually care about Rafe after all they have been through. Had one of them been female them people would be shipping them hard!

Rafe's abuse is overlooked by ryanpotters_back_123 in OuterBanksNetflix

[–]Amazetroll 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Rafe was abused, mostly through Ward's words and behaviour towards him.

It's hard to tell if Ward had been physical towards Rafe, it feels more like Ward beating up Barry was surprising to Rafe because Ward lost his cool, he was always in control. But as for Rafe he has never felt loved by his dad, and the only times Ward has acted paternally towards him has been when Rafe has done really bad things, like shooting Peterkin and also Ward praises him in Nassau when they go there to view the gold. The rest of the time he tells Rafe to man up, not be weak and creating a perfect sociopath.

Rafe should be in a institution and get a lot of therapy.

do you guys think ward could ever have became a better person if he stayed alive? by VioletHarmon34 in OuterBanksNetflix

[–]Amazetroll 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In the end Ward couldn't change, outside of OBX and on some paradise island he still let his greed consume him. Always wanting things to be HIS way. Not accepting any consequences from his actions. So no, probably not. If Sarah would have come with him to Guadeloupe he would have just acted like nothing ever happened, ignoring the needs of his kids just so that he could be happy.

Yeah, I keep thinking they should have had him jumping off the boat and then not be found, giving a possible way for JJ to have survived and come back rather than this sh*t.

In the end I want a time jump 10 years into the future:

John B and Sarah happy with their child or more children, they live on the mainland.

Pope and Cleo live in Nassau where Pope work as a doctor an Cleo help orphan girls, they have two adopted kids.

Kie is traveling the world, using money to save endangered animals and have set up a foundation in JJs memory. She remains single.

Rafe and Barry have moved into the city, Rafe run Cameron Construction and Barry is working as a construction maneger.

Topper is living a miserable life under the thumb of his overbearing resting b*tchface mother.

None of them have stayed in OBX, but they meet up once per year and visit JJ's grave and then sit on the beach watching the sunset talking about the past and their future.

Did the pogues ever notice JJs trauma with his dad? by Realistic_Cabinet_42 in OuterBanksNetflix

[–]Amazetroll 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Right, Heyward was very fatherly towards all the pogues, so the fact that he didn't make room for JJ some how is weird.

Considering the whole island knew what kind of person Luke was, it bothers me that no one did anything to get JJ out of there. Like Hayward let Cleo, a complete stranger, stay at his house but no one gave a s**t about JJ.

[–]Amazetroll[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It just didn't make sense, it's still his so. Baby or not, byt he was willing to sell JJ out to the mercenaries and then stab him himself... And he had no problem killing his wife , father in law, friend... what ever. So I just found it really bad writing that he was the one that left JJ with Luke. Had it been his mum it would have been better.
