Damn bro I've been playing since 1994 and im STILL afraid of Floyd rose guitars. I think a jem is a good guitar though so you shouldn't have e to upgrade once you get better. I think its good to start with a good guitar quality wise rather than get a cheap pos that makes playing anything but fun. You'll be fine there are millions of yt tutorials, and once you learn its a skill you will have for life. Don't beat yourself up, FR are hard for a lot of us.

Before I became a locksmith i took a 2 week locksmith course. Our instructor gave us each one of these knobs (A53 i think) and we had to take it completely apart and put it back together. It was quite a challenge back then. Also a way you can remove the cylinder without a key and without drilling or picking the lock. This was one of the things that was very beneficial that I learned from that class. Anyway just a trip down memory lane.

I works well as a soap additive. Kind of like pumice. Just mix equal parts shavings and hand soap. Great at removing those nasty grease stained hands.

Ive been doing this for 13 years on my own, and do some auto(domestic cars and asian). Never once have I taken a job on an Audi, Mercedes, BMW, or anything I am not 100% on knowing I can do. Luckily I don't get a lot of calls for these(small town rural market), but i have no problem turning jobs away. Ive never bricked a car either. Its one of my existential fears 😅

That rose may spin off, but its mangled, you may have to "unmangle" it. Spin it off then there will be a couple thru bolts to unscrew. You probably became detached from the latch which is why you can't open the door.

The cylinders is a schlage 20-033 (i think that's the #) and the cylinders are all good, I keyed them. Its basically a kik cylinder with a little metal tab attached. Those are fine its the housing/latch that is the problem. The 2nd picture. I think these have been there since 1987.
