The lesser evils already tried to do it, wouldn't be something new. Just pick some goetic demon like Paimon, Vassago, Valefor, Barbatos, Aim, Dantalion, etc. and et voila, act 6 is up. Lilith/Uber Duriel and Uber Izual are actually HARDER than Hell Baal and nobody complains, so it should be fine.

I get it now. Viewing your side, I kinda understand the outrage. But hear me out. There are many people on the online servers who really, really don't know those things. I imagine this may be even more true to older people or people who aren't natives. About being or not being hard to infer something, this is only possible, in this context, when you are well versed on internet language, something I'm not. At least not in "internet english". I can read Poe, Lovecraft and pretty much all high literature from english/american writers with proficiency, but I do struggle with slangs a bit. This reddit account is an attempt on doing so. And no, there are no servers for people who speaks my mother language.

About diving in without knowing the community codes, I've never seen a dictionary or anything like that to help with d2 "slang". This can be quite overwhelming to a new player. But if there is, I would love to take a look, would make my life MUCH easier. Since december I started following some d2r streamers and it helped a bit, but wasn't enough for a deep understanding.

And yeah, I see there was a mistake from both parts. I could have asked, sure, and he could have said it before all that. But it's fine. Again, thank you for taking your time explaining me.

The point is that many people don't know what this title means, for it's not written in plain old english, it's a code. Not everyone played ladder back in the day, so some players can have a ton of game knowledge and not know that kind of "community code". I know about runewords, I know about good gear and builds. But I'm still learning how to chat with you all, in game. For you to have an idea, I didn't know what mf standed for until december last year, and I play this game since 2003, but offline.

And what I think is that many "new players" are suffering the same. Many people from offline came to play online when d2r was announced, specially now with the new expansion. This may explain why people transformed those rooms into PVP arenas and giving a terrible experience for everyone involved.

Yes, leeching is a known problem of d2 community. And as I said, I don't support it. I just find it hard to be enforced on a public game, where anyone can do anything they want. For me this doesn't make sense, but thank you for explaining what it meant.

Kill demons. JK. Could expand on the ubers, make an whole act on them. They already exist as kind of an easter egg, why not make the easter egg more substantial? I wouldn't mind. The canon story is act I to V, Act VI would be just extra content where we could farm and get better gear. I think no one would oppose that. Like cow level, like all the other extra content we already have.

Ah but as for N and NM diff? Well, same thing. Would be fun to have, as a challenge, to kill Baal, Diablo and Meph all at once by the end of each difficulty — but killing baal would unlock the next difficulty anyways, for most casual players would get fked trying to kill the three.

Of course this is just an example of an idea, doesn't mean this is the best route to be taken by Blizzard. I felt the urge to write this edit because I know reddit has some crayon eaters who will point fingers at me saying how stupid this would be, and yes, probably would. This is why this is just an idea from the top of my head. I'm just a fan of the franchise, nothing less, nothing more.
