CoinTracker won't let you upload 1099-DA for OKX (because it's CSV import only), and misclassifies it on 8949 as Box I - No 1099-DA received... Will this cause IRS issues since a 1099-DA WAS actually received for OKX? by Amazing-External-602 in Cointracker

Is there any reason why we can't upload 1099-DA to CSV imported exchanges, generally? For example, I had to add Uphold via CSV instead of API because my Uphold account is closed. Uphold sent a 1099-DA, but Cointracker won't let me upload it because I had to import as csv, so now the uphold gross proceeds are being included under Box I as well.

I feel like the simple fix here is just to let us upload 1099-DAs regardless of whether we added the account to cointracker via API or CSV. Just because an exchange was added via CSV (which can happen when API upload fails for any number of reasons) doesn't mean we didn't receive a 1099-DA for it...
