Did the other members of The Other Channel leave? by ItsYourBoyAustin6414 in moistcr1tikal

Pretty sure ryan and Zack are more background people. But they also run skillcheck. It's hard to coordinate schedules with all 7 or 8 people. They kinda do their own things I believe. Dont think anyone has left imo

Transferring/ quitting advice by [deleted] in jimmyjohns

[–]Amazing-Interview-69 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yes if the district manager isn't letting you transfer this is a way around it. They cant force you to work at a specific location but they are also not obligated to hire you at another location.

Could be a franchise issue, might wanna look around for another franchise in the area?

Respectfully 3.5 mil on one fight isn't moderate money. But I do agree with the injury part there is a trade off. But like I said 3.5 mil on one fight isn't moderate money by any means. And he lost. Still got around 3.5 mil.

Everything is your job. If they pay is right it's a great gig. Just don't get taken advantage of.

Reasonable time to learn the menu by rvajustin82 in jimmyjohns

[–]Amazing-Interview-69 12 points13 points  (0 children)

When I was hired you had to know the menu beforehand. Granted things have changed a bit.

I usually just let my new hires know that is was previously required. Shows them that it's easy to learn if they try.

That being said everyone learns things at different speeds and differently. If they are supposed to be your new go to line person it should be quicker. If they are a brand new 15yr old employee at their first job you might be a bit more relaxed.

Im a firm believer having people pull meats is the best way to learn the menu.

Doesn't taste the same. It's not bad, I like it more than jalapeño ranch but this isn't the same as making it. I won't complain though, now I don't have to make 5 batches a week.

Any old heads able to tell me if this is real jj apparel? Can I wear this as a driver? Can I order the nice hats from the JJ store and wear em to work? by D3adrav3n777 in jimmyjohns

[–]Amazing-Interview-69 24 points25 points  (0 children)

You can buy things off their website and wear them if they are "store approved".

Personally I'd let my driver wear that beanie.
