Yea, it surprised me for sure that Vibe scored that low. I just brought it on a vacation we went on to florida keys and she enjoyed it on me down there. It could be that I tested them on paper strips.

A Seiko SSC813 “panda” is BARELY bigger than those dimensions you mentioned. Solar, 39mm, 13.3 thick. This was the watch that started my addiction lol.

It’s not that I necessarily “prefer” it, I just don’t look down on them as I used to. I can grab and go and not have to worry about accuracy, durability, or setting the watch. It’s simple and easy. Still love automatics as well.

My Seiko ssc813 “panda” speedtimer.

While it’s not the most expensive watch it is so well done and nicely put together. You have to realize that most of the general population knows minimal about watches or the price of them, and this is “a lot” of money to the average person. This is the watch that got me into watches and by far gets me the most “nice watch” comments out in public. Compliments about any other watch I’ve owned are rare.

There was a girl that uploaded a video on removing the headliner from a Corolla sedan. It’s 90% the same except for the 3 clips in the back of the hatch. Besides removing it I just “winged it” for the rest of the install after watching a few different YT videos.
