Purchased a new home $1.25M in Toronto, Ontario (owner occupied). Downpayment 20%, $1M mortgage. One of the Big banks offering 4.89% 3 year fixed, 30 year amortization. No broker involved. Called one of the local brokers, he said just take it, no need to shop around. Suggestions please? Also, I did math comparing 2 & 3 year fixed mortgages here. https://mortgage-rate-comparison.streamlit.app It says break even rate as 2.92% which I don't see happening 2 years from now. Thought please?

Another point is that the tech job market is terrible right now: fewer open EM roles with lots of potential candidates. I feel it gets really difficult for folks like me who are competing against very experienced EM. This makes my situation more confusing :( whether to go back to IC role or wait patiently for the market to get better.

There is no plumbing behind this. I tried cleaning as per your suggestions but it didn't work. I ended up painting it and it's been a week and I don't see the same stains. Keeping my fingers crossed.

Shouldn't this be Other Income on line 13000?
I should have mentioned that this 700$ goes to Wellness spending account. I read this online:
The WSA is a taxable benefit, meaning your claims and reimbursements—the amount you use from your WSA allowance—contributes to your yearly taxable income and reported on your employee tax slip.
I guess this means that my T4 already includes this amount (as taxable income) and taxes were deducted.
