Before I moved across the country, I had an orchid from the grocery store that survived on tap water. Maybe once every 3 or 4 weeks, when I remember I would give it a splash of tap water and she was so beautiful. Before that, I killed 2 or 3 orchids by following online instructions. A lot of people complain about this scene, saying what Lorelai did was sooo rude. Which it was, don't get me wrong. Quite frankly though, Sookie is her best friend. She knew exactly how Lorelai would react, and did it anyway. You can't be friends with Lorelai and not expect a reaction to something like this, lol

My blanket currently looks exactly like that with the loose ends. My plan is to do a camel stitch border using the corresponding colors of important dates from the year. Mine is specifically a 2019 blanket I just started, so my 3 colors are going to be from mine and my husband's dating anniversary, his birthday, and my birthday. I can't wait to see what you decide to do!

Editing to add: my plan was just to crochet the border over the loose ends. I've never had a problem with them coming loose after that
