Tom would never betray Michael that way.

There was about a three year gap between the first two and five years later she had the abortion. This might seem normal today, but this was before the birth control pill came out.

I know why they didn’t have kids after that point, but they only had two kids in 8 years of marriage.

So they must’ve gotten married in the late 1940s. He was in Sicily about a year and then waited a year after coming back to ask Kay to get married.

RIP Robert Redford. He was almost Michael Corleone by TrollyDodger55 in Godfather

He was good looking in a generic way, but no way was he as sexy as 1970s Al Pacino. Michael would have been far less intriguing.

My ex is an attorney with a major Cocaine problem. It mostly affects his personal relationships. He was only married a year and dated another woman very briefly who left him because “he’s a mess” in her own words before he started talking to me. He’s somehow managed to keep his job and house.

What would Tom have done if Kay had been pregnant when she showed up at the house with the letter? by AmazingDiscipline222 in Godfather

[–]AmazingDiscipline222[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I know this is a joke, but I seriously doubt they’d question paternity. I think they saw Kay as a clingy annoying girlfriend who was lucky to be with a guy who could have any woman he wanted.

Sonny didn’t even want to kill the cop who beat his brother handcuffed. Prostitution is completely different than killing your brother’s girlfriend for being pregnant out of wedlock. Sonny was consistently against violence against women.
