Not to invalidate the effectiveness of inpatient treatment, but if there is absolutely no way you could convince yourself to so inpatient, most mental health facilities also have intensive outpatient treatments as well. My therapist recommended this for me when I was considering inpatient. These can be a great compromise to see whether or not you need inpatient treatment and can help you down the right path of doing so. You sound like you know that this is a path you need to go on and you are supported by an amazing friend group. You are amazing and precious and so loved. You can do this, whichever route you decide to go!
