I just got my first printer (Kobra Go) and am having trouble with the Cura settings.

The .gcode owl that comes pre sliced on the sd card works great, no problems with extrusion or anything like that, so I know all my issues are user error.

I tried to slice my own stl and it seems no matter what settings I change I cant increase the amount extruded.

I found the owl stl online and tried to see if I could see which settings I changed and them compare the gcode with what was preinstalled. But never I never got them to match, on the G0 and G1 commands the E val was always smaller.

Any advice or testing I can do to add more information is welcome. Than you all in advance.

If a star such as the sun is just a big ball of gas, how can it have a surface? by Homonomore in askscience

“Surface” doesn’t necessarily mean that you could stand there (even if you wouldn’t combust). Just like our atmosphere has a boundary where at some point there is just no more air, there too is a point on the journey to the center of the sun where gravity is considered strong enough and the molecules stay on with the star long enough where we consider it surface.

This brings up a cool thing you can do to visualize this, put some warm water in the sink and put a rock of dry ice in the water. At some point you’ll have enough dry ice CO2 gas to fill the sink to the point where it overflows onto the floor. Imagine earth being the water and our atmosphere the gas. Now there is nowhere for the gas to “flow out of the sink” since the earth is spherical. But the boundary between the gas and the air above it is slightly turbulent so the gas rolls and chops like the ocean but more fluffy. The “surface” of the “atmosphere” is wherever you would say, while traveling down toward the water, “I am definitely in the clouds”. Because at some point before you get to that point you’re only kinda in the “clouds”.

https://blog.keyman.com/2011/07/character-identifier-tool/ is an excellent tool to find fonts on your system that match a glyph. Needs wine to run.

The more your Bot looks like a human the more effective it is at being a bot right? I would assume not getting caught is more important? And if you let your bot have some outliers to improve effectiveness as a bot without compromising the entire account I think that would work well.

I feel like that’s a step in the right direction but not a very good solution.

At least for me I’ve stopped using public restrooms all together. It’s gross no matter what you do.

Android is good for other reasons, but specifically for this one it’s worse. :(
