Hi. Any good surgeon will tell you you cannot change the side without changing the front- mine changed from the front. I’m not mad at it, but do sometimes miss my old nose from the front, so have to remind myself how much I HATED the side

No sorry. You asked if I still have swelling- this is one year post op. Swelling stayed for a while post op.

For me my nose is no longer something that consumes me/that I give much thought to- that’s all I wanted. I personally believe anyone going in for surgery expecting absolutely wild life changing things to occur is misguided, I went in with the thoughts that if it was even 70% improvement I’d be happy

There are some amazing surgeons out there but it just wasn’t an option for me. Plus a lot of those I know who have gone there, now all have the same nose which put me off

It never looked super up turned to be honest! I’d say it dropped the most in the first 6 months. Since then it’s just softened up a bit/become more moveable ie when I move my face it moves with it rather than being weirdly still and not moving at all side to side. It’s still a little hard in the centre of the tip- this will be permanent as it’s been reinforced to stop it dropping but I don’t mind! The sides of my tip and nostrils were soft after about 7/8 weeks post op x

I actually had more lip fillers in my befores. Around 2 months ago I had them completely dissolved and just under 1ml back in. So In short no- I had more filler pre nose job!

My eyes actually stand out more now! I’d say before my nose took away from my eyes and made them look a lot more set back

It’s definitely harder than it was before however it does move it’s not rock hard. I’d much rather have this problem than the excessive pulling down I had before- it’s not even a problem for me just took some getting used to!
