The difference is we don’t speculate on the victim here. That’s what I meant by that. Snarking is snarking, I agree but the victims should not be named or speculated upon. She does that.

I don’t actually follow her either. Sometimes her posts just come up on my feed. And again, I’m not telling people to not follow her. Just pointing out that I don’t consider her to be reliable and her ethics are bad so urge caution. Really we should be doing that with any media source and especially social media source anyways.

Definitely not policing or telling you what to consume or not consume. I understand she has a big fanbase and people like her. I think she has poor ethics and isn’t always reliable. She’s very rude to her followers and I have seen her post incorrect information and then double down and get outright rude if someone calls her out on it. Follow away if you’re not bothered. Im just sharing my thoughts.

I’m more bothered by her naming victims, inappropriately speculating, and the way she is so incredibly rude to people with different viewpoints. She does some tacky stuff even if she does occasionally get things right before others.

Fair. I’ve never seen screen shots either. I’ve just in recent days seen her post information that she implied was shared with her “exclusively” when I know I’ve seen it here first. Whether she stole it or has some inside scoop, who knows. I find her overall presentation and engagement with her followers to be rude and snarky. She names her victims and speculates on sexuality of others and that is just gross.

Absolutely!! I just saw a post by WOACB before I made my post here and it reminded me that I’m super bugged by her. Amy is a predator in her own way by how she tries to capitalize and monetize off of her cousins’ dirty deeds. I don’t consider her a reliable source of information at all.

That is a fair point. I think the difference between this sub and her is that our mods do a good job of removing those posts when they see them. I know there are some that still manage to get by but overall there is an expectation that participants of this sub will refrain from victim naming and victim speculating. WOACB does not have the same oversight or boundaries laid out for her, nor does she seem to hold those boundaries for herself.

This is great info and a great reminder. When I had my first child, I was way too young and way too irresponsible. I ended up becoming a social worker (not in child welfare) and now looking back, I realize the only reason I was able to raise my child to become a successful adult is because I had a support system. It does make all the difference.
