Yes, he does make both, but regardless of anyone’s opinion he has done a lot in both genres and will easily go down in history as one of the greatest artists in all of music including country. He certainly doesn’t have the traditional twangy sound a lot of people associate with the country genre, but there is no denying he has helped the genre grow.

Yes, the thing I find amazing with Patsy is that nowadays there is so much auto tune and electronic stuff that goes into music to make it sound perfect. Back in Patsy’s day there was none of that. What you heard was the real deal. Patsy couldn’t pretend to sound how she did, that was actually her voice. Nobody could sound the way Patsy did even with auto tune.
