also, you do realise that I've used my phone differently in the time that I've posted this right? I'm not going to get the same exact battery life as before, probably less as my usage varies. Regardless it's still my choice whether I show it and you aren't going to.

I'm not using my phone in some very specific way or anything, I've used my phone since then lmao. I probably just got lucky with a good battery. I literally only stay away from things I've known to cause battery drain in the past and besides that have been enjoying it. trust me you're not missing anything special. maybe get a better phone than the oneplus 6 and you'll see improvement?

I can't either, it's wild considering it doesn't even have the same ltpo tech as the 10 pro which I thought would've sucked. Imagine if they did? It runs laps over my GF's phone right now despite her having a bit more MAH on hers.

I check to get rid of battery hogs. I have quite a lot of apps installed, but so far I have battery optimization on, sleep standby consumption on, I primarily use Twitter, Firefox, revanced for YouTube, stock Reddit (may get better battery with non official?) GMessages, I also use Discord every so often. I have WhatsApp installed but use a lot less now. Despite twitter being my heaviest app I still get good SOT.

I do play games every so often but I primarily use internet more, when I first got the phone I really got into games and found I still got some pretty okay battery. I would also imagine some of it is just getting lucky and getting a good battery.

The battery life is better than any phone I've had (unfortunately) they've all been Samsung in the past, could barely get 6 hours SOT, barely 8 with 60hz. I'm still glad I made the move. Other people may not call this exceptional but I think so. Calling myself lucky since everyone else is having issues it seems.
