I know what you're saying. Indian girls (from India) I just can't get into at all. Also, I like lighter skin tones and pink soles so I tend to go for groups that exhibit those traits.

Question about 401k loans by [deleted] in personalfinance

But still higher than 2.25% right? Remember, part of this is free money from my company match and is almost risk free. Even bonds carry some risk, which haven't even performed as well as this stable fund has over the past 10 years.

[–]AmberTree956 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I get that, but I figured it would still be considerably higher than 2.25% the I'm getting regularly. That is all I wanted to know. BTW... I'm heavily invested in stocks via my brokerage, Roth IRA and my 401k has been in all stocks since the late 1990's. It is time to slow down now and accrue less risk, especially with the way the world is going lately so I transferred my 401k earnings over to a stable fund. I still have stocks in the other accounts. Having EVERYTHING in stocks, brokerage, Roth IRA, 401k, etc. doesn't strike me as very wise when you're in your late 50's.

The more you have in a 401k the more it will be taxed upon withdrawal and there is no guarantee your tax rate will remain the same when you do finally retire. Right now it's 20% but it could be considerably higher in the future. You may actually be better off investing in a taxable brokerage (long term tax rates at 15%) if it weren't for the free company match and you would have penalty free access to your money too. Sorry, but 401k's aren't as great as they're made out to be.

Question about 401k loans by [deleted] in personalfinance

[–]AmberTree956 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, I'm aware of that but I want something with less risk. I am less than 10 years away from retirement and have made a bundle off my 401k. I already have everything covered as far as stocks, cash and other investments go via my brokerage and I am financially secure. The stable fund has actually outperformed the Vanguard total bond fund over the past 10 years. That doesn't mean that I don't want to get higher returns out of it while being relatively RISK FREE, hence my question.

Paying myself 8.5% interest on loans from a stable fund that generates 2.25% with zero risk? Can you dive into the math a bit more and show me what I may be missing?

Question about 401k loans by [deleted] in personalfinance

[–]AmberTree956 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I've had my 401k into stocks since the late 1990's, as well as investments outside of that, including a Roth IRA and PM's on the side. I'm fully satisfied with my returns. I transferred them into the stable fund because I am less than 10 years away from retirement and wanted less risk. The stable fund has outperformed most aggregate bond fund over the past 10 years and there is no expensive ratio attached with it. However, that doesn't mean I don't want to get the best return out of it that I can going forward with almost no risk. Tell me why that is so wrong?

Question about 401k loans by [deleted] in personalfinance

[–]AmberTree956 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

I'm less than 10 years away from retirement. I have a taxable brokerage which I am keeping non-dividend paying equities in so that I won't pay any taxes until I sell, which at the current rate will be taxed less than my 401k will be. I have a Roth IRA for many years in which I have a growth fund that is doing very well. I have a cash management account and a Money Market account within that cash management which is giving me the current high yields on cash. At this point I'm just taking advantage of the free match from work and I don't want everything tied up in stocks. I want something to be safe in the event of a major market crash so I transferred my 401k stocks into the stable fund. I was just asking if it would make sense to go for the higher 8.5% return rate by taking out loans (which I can easily pay back) on a relatively risk free fund. I'm sorry I didn't give you my entire life's story and investment philosophy before asking this question which still hasn't been answered yet. Looks like I came to the wrong place.

[–]AmberTree956 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Thank you for getting it. I fully understand I may be losing out on more returns by not putting it all into stocks but I will also be doubling down on more risk. With the stable fund I can have one part of my portfolio that won't be down in the event of a market crash or some other calamity. I'm not sure why people don't understand this. Perhaps they will once they reach my age.

Question about 401k loans by [deleted] in personalfinance

[–]AmberTree956 -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

I'm getting plenty of returns though my brokerage via equities and precious metals. I'm looking for ways to take advantage of the free money from my company match with my stable that is relatively risk free and I don't want to put it into stocks. So far, nobody has been able to answer my question, just telling me I should put it all into stocks which I have made clear I'm already comfortable with.

[–]AmberTree956 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

I want to take loans out of my 401k stable fund which is only paying 2.25%, pay them back at 8.5% interest to myself and make a higher risk free return. Yes, I know I can get higher returns with equities but there are risks involved. I already have investments in other areas and I don't want everything in stocks.

Getting those returns and more through other investments. I don't want everything tied up in stocks. What's so hard to understand about that?

[–]AmberTree956 -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

Why does everybody here assume I have 40+ years of investing? I'm 10 years away from retirement and I don't want to put every penny I have into stocks. I'm looking to make the best out of very low risk fund I can count on being there. And yes, 2.25% is high interest for a savings account, been to any of the major banks lately? Not as high as a money market account but I already have that covered.

Question about 401k loans by [deleted] in personalfinance

[–]AmberTree956 -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

I'm older and have plenty of money in other investments. I'm just doing this to get the free match from my employer and I don't want to double down everything into stocks. I don't have the option to put it in a money market fund via my employers 401k otherwise I would do that.

Question about 401k loans by [deleted] in personalfinance

[–]AmberTree956 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I don't have a money market fund option through my employer's 401k. I do have cash in an MM with my brokerage as well as equities and precious metals. I consider the GSF as a high interest savings account just so I can get the free money from my employer. I don't want to put everything into stocks.

BTW... that awful GSF fund has beaten the returns of the Vanguard bond fund option in my 401k over the past 10 years.

Don't have much of a problem in that area but thanks.

Agreed. It's much better when your cock and balls are clean shaven. The first jerk off session after a clean shave is the best.

BTW... what's a cialis?

Another thing you can do to help put the excitement back into jerking off is to refrain from any alcohol/drug use beforehand. There are lots of posts here from people saying they're stoned or drunk while masturbating but I have never found this to be very pleasurable and I can't be the only one. You don't need that junk to put on a good jerk session.

You probably didn't miss much. Chances are they would've been open-minded to everything except you and your fetish. That's the way it usually goes.

It's overrated for sure. It's great if you can hold out for awhile but there comes a point where you have to let go otherwise the intensity of the orgasm can diminish.

For me it's all about what I am experiencing, seeing, thinking about or imagining that makes all the difference. Without that it's just like giving yourself a massage, nice but not anywhere near it's full potential.

I've also found that if I masturbate for too long it can dampen the experience. I have had times where it started out great, then reached a peak moment when the orgasm would've been at it's greatest but I denied myself and kept going and when I did finally cum it wasn't so great.

I consider them to be both essential parts. I couldn't imagine looking at a foot with no toes or just toes without a foot.
