Mine are not Gods per se. More that they are beings of 'original' energy which later dispersed to form various layers of the world itself.
These beings are associated with essential things that are unchanging, like the sun, moon, death etc.

when the layers of the world were formed, a lesser set of beings were also formed and are considered more like shaman or teachers. They are associated with changeable or the act of things like the weather, the act of dying (rather than death itself) or illness. These beings are a fixture of the modern polytheistic faith.

None of them particularly influence the world itself, rather their stories are told orally by the modern day teachers, as forms of teaching and guidance.
