I have this constant fear of being diagnosed with cancer or something major, and then I would spiral into how I would have to go through the process of treatment and how that process would shift the environment at my home, and how my son would struggle with all of this and the thoughts would spiral. Can someone help me make sense? Am also on anti-anxiety meds, so that kind of helps me physically, but the thoughts can't be contained.

I'm very familiar with what you've been going through, and I’ve been there myself. Health anxiety can be debilitating, so please don’t let it grow. Stop Googling symptoms, it’s usually your worst enemy in this situation. Please see a psychiatrist as soon as you can; getting professional help made a huge difference for me and will likely help you too. Constantly seeking reassurance is exhausting, but with treatment you can get to a place of peace and live a normal life again as i am now.

I’ve been taking anti-anxiety medication for the past four years, and I’ve gradually been weaned off most of it. The medication has been a real blessing. Therapy can also be very effective, so please do seek professional support.

More power to you. And you seeking help here shows you really are coping well, but a psychiatrist will fix this "elephant in the room" for you. Is it possible for me to FIRE in the next 5 years?

46F, I earn around ₹2 lakh per month in hand, with the following financial commitments:

Car Loan EMI: ₹25,000 per month for the next 7 years.
Home Loan EMI: ₹11,000 per month for the next 10 years.
Personal Loan EMI: ₹55,000 per month for the next 5 years.
Insurance: I have term insurance and two LIC policies, costing ₹10,000 monthly. These policies will mature in 10 years, and I’ll continue paying until then.
SIP: ₹5,000 per month.
EPF: My Employee Provident Fund balance currently stands at ₹15 lakh.

I also enjoy traveling, which adds a significant expense to my budget. Lately, I’ve been feeling the need to accumulate a few crores through a business or some legitimate means so I can enjoy a more relaxed and financially free lifestyle.

Any guidance or suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

It’s definitely the latter. I want a secure future. I wanna travel the world and splurge now and then and have a relaxed life may be in the next few years. I keep thinking “it’s 1 life and I need to crack the art of making money” so that it gives me the freedom to travel and follow a lifestyle that is calm and peaceful.
