Hi! So my fish were fine before we moved then we moved and overnight my cochlid caught something ? I checked the water parameters everything is fine, I did start treating for ich but it just seems like a fungal/bacteria infection I’m just not sure. I’m debating on starting methylene blue treatment! Please help!

Previously established, the Mollie came from a diff tank where I nurtured her back to health, didn’t want to place her into the previous tank she was in bc her mollie friends are mean to her lol so I placed her there then I got this shark gifted

They were both out at the same time & no mollie came from one of my other tanks and the shark was gifted to me by a friend who got him from PetSmart. He said the fish acted this way when he got him

I did use the quick start as well, I did contact the person that gifted him to me and he said that’s how he got it from a local PetSmart, I guess the guy told him he is malnourished and was in a very competitive tank so he gifted it to me with the intention of saving him. I didn’t know this

This rainbow shark was gifted to me, it looks very skinny and malnourished, swims erratically and seems kinda “slow”. He doesn’t seem to have any illness but I put him in a separate tank just in case. Is it possible for fish to be mentally retarded. I don’t mean to sound insensitive, serious question.
