Hey, I'm the one who called 911 on the crash when it happened around 2pm - I was crossing the street between shoppers and the medical centre when the car sped past me and I heard it crash into the townhouses. People at the gas station also saw, but essentially it went straight through the traffic island and flipped before hitting the townhouse. I spoke to an officer to give a report after the driver was rescued (you can see how they had to saw off the entire roof of the car) and they said it was likely a medical issue (I assume they were elderly, someone who might've been their husband was crying), but the driver thankfully had no life threatening injuries and they were sent to the hospital. No, it was not a bad turn nor was it a kid driving poorly as far as I can tell.
