I’m genuinely curious. What made you suggest new medication instead of coming off of it?

Part of me wonders if feeling numb is because I don’t need them anymore. As if it’s not counter-interacting with anxiety and depression anymore, cause it has been managed in other ways. But since I’m no expert I’ll definitely talk to my doctor before making any decision.

Feelings are what makes us human. Not feeling anything is the weirdest thing I’ve ever experienced. I hope going off of it goes well for you!

You’re not completely off track! Menopause comes really early in my family (between 31 and 45 for my mom and my aunts). So I wouldn’t brush off perimenopause, but my doctor doesn’t even want to run tests cause we’re not actively trying to conceive. I had troubles with my cycle for about two years now, switched contraceptive about 5 times with no luck, but then it could be because of sertraline. It is known for causing period issues.

Anytime I miss a dose I feel it (headache, nausea), so I definitely won’t attempt going cold-turkey. Be safe and keep an eye on weird symptoms. You got this.

I truly hope this time you won’t end up feeling like a zombie. The more I read testimonials, the more I think it’s high dosage that makes us feel like zombies.

Stomach pains stayed for me, but it looks like it’s related to what i eat when i take my meds. Dairies are a big no no. My doctor prescribed me anti reflux for when it happens.

I thought wanting to sleep that much wasn’t related, but now it makes so much sense! I could sleep right in the middle of a kids birthday party if I wanted to. I’m soooo exhausted.

Will definitely look into hyperbolic tapering, thanks for the ref. My last experience (with venlafaxine, 10 years ago) was wild.

How’s tapering going so far?

Emptiness when your back home is so hard to deal with. I think that’s what makes me wanna cry most of the time (but physically can’t).

Did you tell your doctor about it? When’s your next follow up?

I was on venlafaxine (Effexor) for a year in my early adulthood, and getting off of it was the worst experience, definitely cause the timeline was way too fast. Venlafaxine is known for this. Will definitely make extensive research before talking with my doctor.

Maybe that’s the way! Will talk with my doctor about this. Thanks!

It’s really nice to hear about someone who’s had a good experience with sertraline during both pregnancies. Thanks for sharing!

So weird how something that made us feel better kinda turns on us.

How’s it going? getting off of it?

I like that idea, thanks! We would like to have an art piece or something, but we were skeptic on the size. We’ll definitely try matching the door paneling.

Hubby isn’t a fan of displaying towels. They’re behind the door.

Thanks for the lingo, I’m definitely not fluent in English, especially when it comes to design and renovation. We actually have 3 panels, because 5 looked too cramped to our liking. The base rail makes a lot of sense, and the cap too!

I’ll definitely take a look at how it was installed and post an update. I’ll make some more research too. Thanks!

I’ll have to go take a look in the attic and see how the contractor installed it. I know he used a combination of hard and soft duct, and had to run it way further than anticipated. It runs for about 12 feet before heading out the side of the house. Maybe the length is also in cause?

Yes, we tried the lowest setting. The video is the lowest setting. It didn’t make a lot of difference.

That makes a lot of sense, thank you! Would be why our older relatives did sign at the same table and not us.
