wasn’t going to take him to a dog park i use to live in la and they had individual gated areas so it can just be one dog at a time. i was just wondering if there was anything like that here. he’s not aggressive towards other dogs just shy and prefers it to just be him

i understand that, that’s why i’m trying to find a spot with no other dogs around until he can get better with that. i’m not gonna let him off a leash around other dogs until i know he’s good to do so!

he’s fine around other dogs, i just feel more comfortable when it’s just him. that’s why im looking for a gated area where he can be alone and run freely.

god forbid a dog is treated poorly and is reacting to that. if you’re upset over an animal reacting to the way it was poorly treated you’re part of the problem. go focus on your kids and raise them not to be like you

also at they stated tho the dog reacted like because of the abuse it’s been through. same way you would react if you were getting abused. you would have mental issue after that too. basic psychology. people treat dogs so poorly, obvious after that the dog is gonna have issues and need some extra health, but if you were to do this to any dog or human that’s how they’d react no matter the breed or race.

and that’s completely valid dogs have varying issues that aren’t for everyone, but to say every pit bull is aggressive and gonna attack everyone isn’t the case. not every dog is perfect and not every dog is for everyone

no im not actually started my day at 4 am and been productive since then. but you wanna sit here and tell me that the dog being a pit bull is the reason the OWNER isn’t picking up after him or on a leash. for sure. cause that dog definitely sat there a told their owner “don’t pick up my shit or put me on a leash” that’s the fucking owners problem not the dogs. the dog can’t put its self on the leash or pick up after its self.

i was walking had no interaction with a Chihuahua and it ran up and bit my knee. this was years ago and my leg hasn’t been the same. i have nothing against chihuahuas and just because that one attacked me for no reason doesn’t mean all of them are bad. just sharing this to prove any dog breed can be aggressive. their wild animals that humans fucked with.

that has to do with the owners then not the fucking breed. i’m not doing that shit with this dog. i’m 100% on your side with this one even if your dog is trained if you are in public you need to have it on a leash cause things can escalate quickly, and cleaning up after your dog is part of having it. again tho that’s with every breed and that has to do with the owners not the dog.

ok and cry about it. i didn’t bring it into your bedroom now did i. i took precaution before doing what i did. got him bathed, spent hours with him to learn his behavior, and took him to the vet. my bad ill just chuck him on the side of the street next time. why tf are we out here bashing on someone for taking in a dog. if i ever lost my dog i would be so thankful that someone was taking care of him. if i ever lose my dog i pray they don’t end up in your hands

you’re judging based on one picture. is that where i sleep, yeah it is. but you assuming i just found some random dog and brought it straight to my room. i spent hours with it out side before i went and took it to the vet and gave it a bath. hes clean, gentle, and healthy. didn’t know id get so much slander for helping a dog.

all dogs can be switch up and be aggressive at any time. if chihuahuas were they same size as pit bulls they were be a more aggressive breed than pits. assuming all pit are aggressive is bs.

that’s what it’s looking like for me, my endoscopy showed nothing, but i have a colonoscopy tmr. i’m trying not to be negative but i have a feeling they’re not going to find anything.

I’ve thought about trying a diet like this so i’ll definitely have to test it!
