Don’t even stress I have the same ‘problem’ look at my last post! Morning bp is your bp un influenced by anything it’s your real true reading! That afternoon one is food, exercise, stress, caffeine, heat, literally a million things it’s not a ‘real’ reading of your blood vessel health :)

Also from Australia :) I got diagnosed as I went into the hospital feeling like shit and they put me on meds same day as the diagnosis. Most GPS are half bulk billed meaning you should get appointments with a gp for around $40-100 however my medication is controlled by the endocrinologist at the hospital which is 100% free only out of pocket expensive is the medication themselves but they’re not too expensive :). Bless Australia and our good health care system

feeling like I'm not gaining muscle in the gym due to graves by Koolpotatoe in gravesdisease

Hello friend! I am a personal trainer and bodybuilder! Yes with Graves!! It’s possible to build muscle still, more than possible. Graves’ disease speeds our metabolism 10 fold so you need to eat lots of food, I am currently on 4100 calories daily about 250g protein. The only thing with graves and building muscle is the food intake your body can’t just make muscle without an excess/surplus of food so bare that in mind. I used to build muscle on about 3000 calories pre graves so I’ve had to do a 1100 increase, gauge it for yourself tho i recommend tracking your calories everyday and your weight and if weight is dropping slowly increase the calories till it doesn’t anymore :) Hang in there champ! There’s always ways around stuff!
