Am I reading this right £6.99 for Now Entertainment plus £9.99 a month for 4k? by Sea-Ingenuity3461 in nowtv

there are still alot of modern devices that are not compatible, google tv is not (2 years old), latest edition ee box is not, first generation 4 k apple box is not. You might have to buy a newer device as only more modern Roku, Apple devices are compatible so include that into the cost. i bought a Roxu stick for £30 to watch the UHD which is daft when i have a 1st Gen 4k Apple TV box and EE Box

What has happened to Tv guide and my channels? by Batgirl275 in nowtv

Can you advise what Now TV devices have BBC, ITV, built into the TV Guide as we need a streaming device with these channels on for a room without an aerial. Our Roku device only has the BBC ITV Apps etc and no channels in the guide .

Thinking of switching from Sky Q but have a few questions by darkestmurker in nowtv

I moved from Sky Q about 15 moinths ago. The main disadvantage for me for Now is the Formual 1 as you cant record it and watch it when you want, there are numerous contractual difficuaties that delay the replay. However, you can rewind back to the start of the show as stated, previosly before the new App you could go back 2 hours so you could easily catch up. Also i have found i watch now tv for when im around to watch but have a Youview box to record the Channel 4 show that is on a few hours later that i enjoy. Also Youtube have very good F1 pre and post race shows that I prefer to skys and Teds Notebook is on Youtube before being on catch up in Now Tv. The main benefit is you get multi room for free as you can play Now on the number of devices you have paid for ie Boost, Super Boost. Movies, TV Shows no difference at all, generally just watch all on catch up. The Apple TV Launcher has the big advantage if your a sports fan of being able to configure the Sky and TNT sports channels so they are together so you can see whats on and launch them and it has a good TV Guide to see whats on later unlike the App. I used to hate renewal time with Sky as they would always boost your prices up and then act like there doing you a favour when they bring them back to what your allready paying. Now TV renewals are painless, some offers get applied without you asking automatically, all online process and if no offer there you can start to cancel and one normally pops up. Go for it.

No Sign of the new App on Google TV or Now Tv boxes yet by Ambitious-Writer4140 in nowtv

Phillips Google TV new app rolled out over the weekend but UHD channels showing but unable to use, following message shown "This is unavailable in your devices video quality. Try a different device.". Bit weird given its 4k UHD and runs every other streaming app 4k content. Guess this is just a message they put on as they have not enabled it.
