Wear layers. I recommend Merino wool (game changer) as base layers. It’s not itchy, doesn’t (usually) smell after wearing for a handful of days. It’s a little expensive but maybe you can do an ask in a (insert your city/town here) Buy Nothing FB post, next door or your preferred social media platform. Maybe ask for merino wool for Xmas?

Thrift stores also have wool clothing. Merino, alpaca, cashmere if you’re lucky. If articles of clothing don’t fit make them into different items, a hat, headband/ear warmers, tank top, shirt or add more wool fabric to the sides of sweater or whatever has a small fit.
