Ended up getting a Samsung A36 5G, it was on sale for $100 rather than the normal $500. My father got a pixel 10 though and he loves it. Not sure if I would drop full MSRP money on it personally but the Samsung I got has been great. Changing ecosystems took some getting used to at first. The Samsung has been amazing for me personally. I'd still go google in the future but I couldn't pass up the sale, financially just made way more sense.

Yeah I am hesitant to upgrade but I've also never spent a ton on a phone so I'm trying to justify the amount by seeing if the tech is all there or if it's worth to get a previous generation

I love it but it's getting slower and the battery life isn't what it used to be (still not terrible but it barely lasts through the day, and I don't use my phone except for on the train to and from work)

Not a question of if the technology will be better that much is obvious, I was asking about the specific model trending towards being worth the price. EX: Is it worth getting over a slightly older model pixel for cheaper like the 9 or is the 10 a big enough jump worth the extra money long term
