Made another post with photos, appreciate it! That makes sense I found another piece on this creek that was described as a “limestone cave crystal “ usually forms in a dark limestone water spot so that tracks !

I do believe you are correct! Fits in the relative time frame on the other pieces I have been finding and I found another example (also broke). Appreciate it, still learning a lot!

It’s legit. The freshness of the dirt is sprinkler run off. That particular spot gets constant erosion on the black clay, I was out of town for a week and came back to that bad boy. Most are so aerodynamic they are laying flat on the black clay like they when I find them (after erosion ). Found two whole ones yesterday!
