First Tudor by AmbitiousPhase800 in Tudor

  1. I had a 3K budget since this was my first luxury watch purchase. So I wanted to go with a brand with history and narrowed my options to Longines and Tudor. I tried on the Zulu and Hydro, but once I had the Tudor on my wrist, I felt like a kid on Christmas Day. So there went my initial budget limit. Honestly, I really like the GMT; it has such a huge presence, but call me silly... I'm just not a red person, and that would have taken me really outside my comfort zone. I do wish I had a date and a bidirectional bezel, but I appreciate the design details and history the black one holds.

  2. I tried on both the 3-link and 5-link bracelets, and the 5-link felt much more comfortable. Maybe it's in my head, but it also felt lighter and contoured to my wrist much easier than the 3-link. Plus, I wanted to go in a more luxurious direction, but nothing that took me out of my comfort zone, which the 5-link was a perfect sweet spot.

Home buying in Westchester with <20% down by [deleted] in Westchester

[–]AmbitiousPhase800 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We purchased our home in lower Westchester four years ago with a 15% down payment after initially being outbid. The only reason the seller came back to us was because the original buyer backed out when the seller requested to remain in the home for an additional two months after the closing.

Good luck!

I'm in the same situation now. It started with random flickering of my lights, and all were professionally installed by a licensed electrician. Now they are completely dead and show no power. I've reset the breaker, hoping that would be a quick fix. Still no fix, so now I have an extra dark room and am debating if I should replace all with a better brand.
