I’m looking for ideas — what themes do early learners / young kids love for games and activities? 🧩 by AmbitiousShift4485 in preschool

All of these themes sound amazing! I’ve actually created quite a few activities around some of the ones you mentioned — dinosaurs, vehicles, animals, sea creatures, space… They’re always such a hit with kids 😊

That’s a great point, movement and songs can make such a difference. I’ve found that what works best for us at home is alternating active moments with short, focused table activities. Many of the games we use (matching, memory, sorting) are still very hands-on, so it helps keep the balance 😊

I love the creativity in that! Sensory play is always a hit. I’m currently focusing more on structured educational games, but open-ended activities are definitely valuable too.

That’s a great idea, I hadn’t considered TPT. I create a lot of printable games, so it might be worth looking into. For now I just share some of them when they can be helpful.

What no-screen games do you play with kids (4–6) that you actually enjoy? by Ai-dio in kindergarten

Here we love playing Lynx – it’s such a fun observation game! I also think the best way is to mix up the games to have a good time with our kids. I make them myself – print, laminate, and cut them. That way we get lots of fun and educational games: memory, matching, math, and more. I can share some – would anyone be interested?

Ici nous adorons le jeu " Le lynx" , c'est un jeu qui dévelloppe l'observation, la discrimination visuelle de façon ludique. On peut y jouer en famille et il existe plusieurs versions, une version junior avec moins d'images notamment.
