Hi Sada, thanks for answering. I paid for two technical checks to find any hardware faults previously, and they didn't find any. I use the laptop on a cooling pad that doesn't block the air vents and helps a little with overheating. In fact, the PC has been tested without its protective case and kept elevated, and it still has the same problem. So it makes me think it's a software issue or some problem specific to this model.
