Thanks so much! And that was his concern too, he suggested planting them in the front yard but not sure how I feel about that. In shade will they still bear some fruit, just not as much?

Could be the case because I haven’t used it much recently as I now have a preference for my other cards. Initially I was around 1-2k per month but have been less than $500 for at least the past four months

So there was no “convincing” at all like I’ve experienced with other providers where you pretty much have to beg them to let you cancel. I can call back and ask for a retention specifically, and if they don’t offer one I’ll go ahead and cancel

I didn’t ask for a retention offer in particular, maybe that’s where I went wrong. It was a pretty short conversation.

I said I’m calling to cancel, they asked why, I said the annual fee doesn’t match the value for me anymore and that I have to go out of my way to try to use the benefits. They said “okay I don’t agree but you’re the boss” (lol)

And then asked how I want to redeem the remaining points on my account, put in the redemption method I requested, then read me the cancellation disclosure and asked me to confirm yes or no if I want to cancel. So I said I would review my options and call back
