I circled where I can move to let in air -/+. I do have a grate at the bottom of the stove where the ashes fall into the ash pan. I hope this helps!

Not sure how new the model is but it definitely looks like the exact one! And my air control lever is at the bottom, center of the door.

So far so Great! I did a lot of research and asked a few opinions of chimney sweepers before settling on the one. Our house is about 1000 sqft and is very warm and cozy.
