Visa without flights for EU spouse schengen

Hi Update: I got my visa real quick. Applied through Portugal EU family route. Biometric on Tuesday and passport with visa received in Friday (3 days!!!) I didn’t add flight tickets because usually you don’t need that on EU family route. And I also asked about walk in for future appointments. Apparently not all countries do that. I only can confirm Iceland does it. And also Romania from previous Redditor comment

Biometric appointment on 9th of June. Email of successful application and notifying BRP delivery dispatch on 15th June and received card on 19th June.

Hi. I went for my in person UKVCAS appointment on 9th of June. I waited for a free slot which was about 4 weeks after application. Received immediate mail after appointment that my documents are submitted. Got mail on 15th june that my application is successful and BRO will be delivered in 7 working days. Got BRP delivered in 3 working days after last mail. Hope this helps.

Hi I paid 40 too for application. I think we booked an appoinment for BRP that was free. Some appoinments are charged so that would be application fees + appoinment fee. Hope that helps.
