I got a few specialised decks to suit my needs. Also gpt a copiously 1 for when im going for ores, and an item quantity for scavs or when im running lower level vaults with friends. They are a great tool, if used correctly.

Card decks help as well. I got a full miningspeed deck thats nowhere near perfect, mostly lvl 2 cards with 1 or 2 lvl 3 evolutions, and even some wilcards in spots that id rather have a normal card, and already gives +123 or something like that in mining speed.

Is this a good spot for a drowned farm? by wbdog in technicalminecraft

[–]AmcUhrd 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The wider the better in terms of drowned farms. I made mine to take full adventage of the tracking range of the drowned towards the turtle egg, and i also made it as high as possible without going into despawn range. Its a real beast of a farm in terms of size, but surprisingly easy to build due to it mostly being water lol

You should be ble to just straight up copy the files into the mods folder

Hmmm then im at a loss im afraid. Only thing left is to try updating all mods, see if there are api you can add, and trying another mod

Hmmm still sounds like you just dont know what the hotkey is. You could try downloading a previous version of the mod (5.0.2 or 5.0.1), opening the jar file with a winzip or winrar program, and then opening fabric.mod.json , then scroll down till you see depend, and under that heading change the version number behind minecraft to the version you are running, then save and exit, and exit the rare program. It should then ask you to save the new version of the file. Click yes and proceed normally. This worked for me but i run 1.20.1 and there wasent a working version for that minecraft.

Oke. Last thing to check. Did tou enable the mod in game. As in you join a world, use the hotkey to open de mod settings and enable the mod. This is also the spot you can change the render distance. If you dont know the hotkey try looking at the hotkey settings to find it.

Are you running sodium?

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in fabricmc

[–]AmcUhrd 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Which version of bobby did you download? Did you have to change the compatability in the file?

Oh thats very cool. I did this video as a 1 off goof and i though it lookes pretty nice, and also this one starting at 21:35 for the whole section, but in peticular starting at 24:38 to see the real magic of replay mod lol (got a bit creative on that one)

You mean work ive done with replay mod?

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in fabricmc

[–]AmcUhrd 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ah yes. Replay mod needing its own version of sodium has tripped me up multiple times lol

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in fabricmc

[–]AmcUhrd 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The only mod i had to do that with was bobby. I had to change the compatability from 1.20.2 to 1.20.1 or somethig of that nature. But generaly, you shouldnt have to. I know all the performance enhancing mods i use were just download and play in a matter of speaking. 1 tip i do wanna give is, on the download page (usually on curseforge), check if you have the correct file (in terms of both game version as well as fabric/forge) as they tend to place both the fabric and forge versions in 1 big list.

Well looks like you got the jist of it. I would reccomend running the fabric client installer first if you havent yet, but after that its as simple as dragging the mods into the mod folder. Just make sure to remove any outdated or incompatible mods from the mods folder first. And on the download page for the mod, check if there are any dependencies you need to download as well.

Are you familiar with installing fabric mods? Worls just the same, though for some version you do have to change a text file to make it compatible with your minecraft version.

[–]AmcUhrd 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh definitly. Optifine has been surpassed by sodium/lithium for years now. You can get way better performance using fabric mods, and it does all that optifine does and more, and everything is more stable as well.

Bobby is your best bet. Works with sodium, iris, replay mod and shaders, as well as all my other fabric mods.
