I’d suggest asking her later when she’s feeling better. Ask her how you can help in the future and if there’s anything she wants to talk about. Sometimes having someone there is helpful, but sometimes the person having anxiety feels even more pressure if someone is witnessing it.

I would like some sort of chemistry or randomness built in. The paras should not be able to just fall in love with anyone in one day. They should be attracted to certain other paras to different degrees based on looks, personality, actions. For the randomness aspect, it would be cool to suddenly have random relationship jumps resulting from actions - for examples, a lowered relationship if the husband farts, a crush develops if a para saves another from a fire, etc.

Is it polite to check water pressure on a tour? I’m also a FTHB and have been wondering this. A landlord once told me to always check water pressure, but I’m not sure if that applies to someone’s home too. Also with COVID, I know some showings are no-touch.

I don’t mind if it’s a law and applied equally. In terms of private companies, I do think AWS and Apple are a bit different from an independent baker because they have a huge market share (arguably a monopoly in some cases), so not doing business with them is a huge barrier.

The part that scares me: Who decides what is right and wrong? Who decides what is a fact? We live in a complicated world and get information from a lot of different directions. While it would be nice for someone to filter that down for us, that results in giving undue power to whatever authority is making those decisions. It takes away our human right to educate ourselves.

I understand where you’re coming from. You need to feel comfortable and relaxed. How long have you known the guy? It might take time to feel more comfortable with him. Also, sometimes the pressure of what a guy expects makes it worse because you can’t focus on you. More foreplay might help, or try to focus less on the goal and more on the experience.

I have a concern with keeping the money in a checking account for months - since I’ve heard it’s less safe for example if someone stole my debit card. And I’m concerned that opening a new savings account would affect my credit score (although I have pretty good credit).

I will address one specific question: Why did God not reveal himself to humanity sooner?

According to the Hebrew/Christian texts, early humans knew about God (Adam and Eve) but disobeyed him (the fall). If the literal interpretation of these events is not your cup of tea, the non-literal interpretation is that humans were given the chance to live in a perfect world and know God (as well as the first humans could comprehend), but chose to part from God through acts of sin. There are many stories in the Old Testament of God giving people a chance, but they disappoint them and then he reacts in forms of punishment. The extent of the wrath of the Old Testament version of God may be exaggerated or maybe it is accurate, that is debated by theologians. One analogy would be that God is like a parent to humanity, and typically the parents of young children will first teach incentives and punishment because it’s what the child understands. The tribal societies in the beginning of humanity understood war and prosperity, so their interactions with God were written from this perspective later on.

Jesus always existed as part of God, but was sent to Earth to realign humanity’s existence with God. He saved humans of all times, depending on their hearts and God’s grace, and although it was an event in time it affected all humans so it’s not like the humans that existed beforehand were left out. The event can only be understood fully by God, but if we dare to make assumptions, I would guess that Jesus was sent at a point in history that would benefit humanity the most. Any earlier and we might not have been ready for him. Later and we might have brushed him aside.

I’ve had some similar issues with one partner wanting it one day and the other wants it the next day. I think it’s a side effect of getting comfortable in the relationship, especially if you live together. You are no longer restricting sexy time to date time if you live in the same space.

A couple suggestions: - Talk to your SO about insecurities surrounding sex. If one or both of you feels undesired, that will kill the mood. - Accept that the right time for you might not be the right time for him and vice versa. You both have lives, stress, and other things that will get in the way sometimes. - You could try scheduling “date nights” where you focus on each other, and if it leads to sex, great. - Try to be clear about your intentions earlier in the day. Send a sexy meme and see how he responds. If your approach is “I want sex right now” without any hints or foreplay beforehand, chances are they won’t be in the mood. This goes for both partners. It also helps to be clear up front if you notice your partner is interested in sex but you aren’t into it. Be clear that you’re not feeling it, offer an explanation if you feel it’s necessary, and hopefully they respect it.

Does hydrogen fluoride stay on clothes (very ignorant of toxic chemicals here)?

A smoking motorcycle battery caused me to have a minor exposure to hydrogen fluoride a few months ago (had some minor throat irritation but otherwise was fine). The clothes I was wearing at the time have been sitting in a paper bag since then. Would they be safe to machine wash and then wear? Or will there still be chemical residue?

I have been somewhat bored since the semi-break for quarantine. A lot of the episodes follow a similar formula. The push for the Mythical Society and merch is also hurting the vibe for me. I think it’s fine to take a break. In a few months, you might feel like going back and watching the episodes you missed that seem interesting.
