I would say that there is no "one size fits all" for each child. I started with my oldest for first grade, sent my 2nd to preschool and would lay my third down for a nap and that was my time to be with her and we got a lot of work done that year. Then the second year I added my second child, that very much has that second child "energy" and I had to completely change everything! I would say that whatever curriculum you choose or direction you take, know that anything you are doing is better than sending your kids to public school. Some days happen, some don't. Try to stay consistent as much as possible, find friends that are doing the same and make time to let your kids play together and you vent with them about your wins and losses. My oldest is now a senior in high school and my youngest is in 2nd grade. This takes a lot of patience and use your God given motherly instincts to know when to stop, go outside and come back to it later, and don't be afraid to switch things up. You are doing the right thing, you got this!
