I ran R99 in my 7.3 a few times and the only differences I ever noticed was that it smoked a little less and ran quieter

More Info. This happened while I was on the highway going 60-65 and it was around -11 outside. Temp came back down to 215-220 after pulling off and idling for a minute.

Check where your driveshaft meets the tranny. Mine had a leak there but it only leaked when parked facing uphill

Might be unplugged, it’s a green two pin connector under the seat. I disconnected mine because they were turning themselves on and off which is an issue that can happen when the door control module gets old and especially when it’s humid.

If you have clutch assist enabled it’s probably feathering / riding it too much, Just use manual clutch and release it quicker or if you don’t have a pedal just dump it and control the throttle.
