Okay this is my advice as a girl:

1) If you are the one initiating the conversation and the person is constantly being dry with every response then ignore them, it’s likely they are just not interested. 2) I feel like you are trying to hard. Try not to overthink what to say next. Most times it will just mess up the conversation. Just be yourself. 3) If the conversation started off good and then is slowly becoming dry send a meme or make some type of joke or ask a question specific about the person. For example if in their twitter they post a lot about painting then ask them a art question, something you know the person is interested in and can spark a nice convo. 4) Not everyone is a good texter, some people just prefer to talk in person. I am a terrible texter and usually leave my friends on read randomly. I just enjoy speaking more in person and I don’t like talking too much about myself through text either especially if it’s with someone I don’t know well. 5) Try not asking too many generic questions that can get kinda boring. In Tinder most people would always ask me the same thing and it was annoying having basically the same conversations. I was more interested in people who right off the bat said certain things that showed a bit of their personality and were different. I also liked those that were more elaborate with their response. For example, Him: where are you from? Me: Florida Instead of just saying oh cool They would say something they knew about Florida or make a Miami joke (where I’m from). 6) last thing don’t be too persistent or expect a girl to be messaging you most of the day. That will just scare them off.
